“Yes, that’s right (an elementary school teacher died),” said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal when contacted, Thursday (8/4/2021).

The incident began at around 09.50 WIT in Julukoma Village where the KKB group shot civilians. An unknown person (OTK) comes to Oktovianus’ house.

According to Kamal, at that time the victim was guarding the stall. Suddenly the OTK entered the house and immediately shot at the victim.

The shot hit Oktovianus’ right rib. The victim also died as a result of the gunshot wound he sustained.

“Regarding the right rib and two holes were not penetrated and the victim died,” he said.

Two people were reported missing after the shooting, but were found some time later. The police said the Papuan KKB who shot the elementary school teacher was the leader of the Sarbinus Waker group.

Iqbal said the shooting took place on Thursday (15/4) at around 19:15 WIT. Iqbal said the KKB was suspected of being a member of Lekagak Telenggeng.

“Yesterday it happened, allegedly the perpetrator was a subordinate of Lekagak Telenggeng,” said Iqbal.

Iqbal said the KKB also burned the victim’s motorbike. He said the victim was shot twice in the head and hacked into the head.

Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, said that a student named Ali Mom was killed. Before being shot, Ali was contacted by an unknown person to buy cigarettes.

“The victim on behalf of Ali Mom was contacted by an unknown person, then asked the victim to buy cigarettes and areca nuts, and asked for the groceries to be delivered to Uloni Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency,” said Kamal in a statement received by detik.com, Friday ( 16/4/2021).

Kamal said the victim fulfilled the request. The victim delivers the items to the stated location on a motorbike.

“Arriving at the roadside of Kampung Uloni, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, the victim was intercepted by the KKB and immediately shot using a firearm twice in the head and stabbed in the head. Then the motorbike used by the victim was burned by the KKB,” he said. .

The family received information on the shooting the following day. At around 06.30 WIT, the family came to the location.

Iqbal revealed that the motorcycle taxi driver was named Udin (41). He was killed by being shot in the Ilaga Market area.

“The results of the post mortem et repertum mean that the victim suffered a gunshot wound on the right side of the head through the right cheek. And a gunshot wound on the right chest pierced the left side of the waist,” explained Iqbal.

“Currently the body is still being rested at the Ilaga Puskesmas,” concluded Iqbal.

Iqbal also confirmed the news about the KKB burning houses in Kampung Beoga. “(House) Deputy (Chairman) DPRD,” said Iqbal.
